Frank Faustino
Frank Faustino writes stories that bite. His Jonah Grady series is set in a near-future America run by Christian Nationalists, and its hero is a gay former SAS operative who learned long ago how to turn pain into a weapon. Faustino is a vehement anti-fascist with a taste for dark humor, an indie author by choice, and he writes to fill the gap where the thriller shelf's queer military heroes should have been all along. He mixes lust and lunacy, camp and carnage, and goes looking for the places where faith curdles and survival becomes its own sin.

TJ Roark
TJ Roark is the latest incarnation of a balls-to-the-wall life. After careers in research and teaching, he now writes dark MM romance and paranormal thrillers, which lets him ask considerably less respectable questions without applying for a grant.
He likes his characters competent enough to survive the plot and mouthy enough to make it harder. His books put queer men at the center of the danger, give them someone worth surviving for, and leave the bedroom door wide open.
TJ has a soft spot for the men other people have condemned to hell. He figures they deserve good sex and someone who'll come looking when they disappear.
